Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.26% September 28–Monday
MOSCOW, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.26% from September 28 through Monday from 0.29% in the previous week, and reached 5.48% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Prices for poultry rose by 1.59%, for eggs by 4.43%, for sugar 0.21%, for sunflower oil 0.08%, for buckwheat 0.44%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables increased by 1.5% on average, with prices for potatoes rising 4.36%, for cucumbers 6.34%, for tomatoes by 11.98%. Cabbage prices fell 0.34%, onion 0.68%, carrot 0.24%, apple 1.38%.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained unchanged.
